Marni’s vibrant watercolors represent her love for drawing, desire to create beauty and her inner joy. Her favorite subjects to paint are flowers, camels and scenes from her travels throughout the US, Europe and Haiti. She wants to celebrate anything beautiful and make it impossible for you to ignore it.

Marni exhibits her work regularly at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton (www.workhousearts.org) , Tempo Restaurant in Alexandria and Pearmund Cellars Winery in Broad Run. She also participates in local and National group shows and has had a solo show about once a year for the past 17 years. Marni designed the cover for the 2014 and 2015 issue of the Fairfax County Visitor’s Guide which can be found in hundreds of locations throughout Fairfax County. She has won numerous awards for her watercolors including the Arts Council of Fairfax County’s Strauss Fellowship.

She teaches classes at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Goodwin House in Falls Church, The Loft Art Center in Occoquan, Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, Private lessons and at Village of Hope School in Haiti (www.villageofhopehaiti.org) where she coordinates the Enrichment Program each summer with 14 teachers from the U.S.
