Teresa has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember and today she enjoys painting in pastels, acrylics, oils, and watercolor.

She received her B.A. degree in Fine Arts and soon after began a career as a graphics designer. She currently works for the federal government providing graphics and multimedia products.

To fulfill her desire for creating fine art, Teresa paints in her free time and is an active member of the Springfield Art Guild and the Pastel Society of Virginia. She is constantly trying new techniques and processes to improve her work. She takes painting and drawing classes and workshops in the evenings and weekends, and participates in local competitions.

Her paintings have been juried into many art shows in the Northern Virginia area including the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, The Liberty Arts Center in Fredericksburg, The Ernst Gallery at Northern Virginia Community College, Green Spring Gardens Fairfax County Park in Alexandria, the Franconia Government Center in Springfield and the Goodwin House in Alexandria.
