I am a Northern Virginia–based artist working in acrylic, charcoal, pastel, and mixed media. My work spans portraiture, figurative subjects, animals, and landscapes, with an emphasis on observation, atmosphere, and strong foundational drawing.
Some of my pieces are rooted in personal experience or memory, while others are created simply for the pleasure of the subject itself. I enjoy moving between more expressive work and straightforward portraiture, allowing each piece to determine its own direction rather than forcing a specific narrative.
Across mediums, I’m drawn to clarity of form, thoughtful color, and a balance between detail and softness. Whether I’m working on a commissioned portrait, a quiet landscape, or a more interpretive piece, my focus remains on creating work that feels visually grounded and honest.
