Leslie Wilder

Being a native of Gloucester, Massachusetts, I was inspired as a child to pick up a paintbrush. I took a number of classes over the years but was unable to devote the time I wished to it until I retired in 1993 from a career as an editor. Since then, I have taken many art classes and exhibited my watercolors and pastels with several local art groups, including the Springfield Art Guild, the Art League at the Torpedo Factory, and Cobblestone Gallery in Old Town, Alexandria. For six years I rented studio space at Columbia Pike Artist Studios.
