Davi D’Agostino
Driven at a young age to create things of beauty by any means—drawing, paint, sculpture, gardening–she began art at age 9 and continued through her graduate studies. As a teen, she won awards for her artwork, and during college, initially as a fine arts major, she sold many of her works—including portraits–in New Orleans. In 2024, Avignon’s City Hall showed her works in its Academy of Arts where more than 400 visitors enjoyed the exhibit. Her works also have been juried into many shows and exhibitions in Northern Virginia and have won many awards in juried international online competitions. She also received the Women in the Arts Recognition Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution in 2023. She held solo art exhibits in wine shops and restaurants in Northern Virginia and sold many paintings and done several on commission, with works hanging in private collections from California to Delaware to Paris, and other cities in France. She has developed, designed, and taught many private and group painting classes and lessons, and was a river cruise line’s “Artist on Board,” teaching on 4 European sailings; taught at Northern Virginia Community College’s Lifetime Learning Institute; and now teaches classes in her home studio in Virginia.
