Joan Fegan
Joan works primarily in oil and enjoys painting a variety of subjects, including animals. Painting is her second career. She studied with wonderful local artists and teachers, including the late Jennifer Schoechle, Adrienne Kralick and Priscilla Treacy. Her works have been shown at Art at the Mill, The Yellow Barn, Arlington Arts Gallery, Falls Church Arts, the Fairfax County Plum Center and Franconia Government Center, Vienna Arts Society, Falls Church Arts, and at many Springfield Art Guild shows.
These paintings represent one body of work, with the goal of painting the ten most popular breeds of dogs in the U.S. These were presented in solo shows at Barrel Oaks Winery and the Frame Factory.
