For the last 40 years, I have worked in structural engineering and architectural design. Educated in Fine Arts, I graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, I worked in art research. I later pursued a career in engineering graphics and graduated from Delgado Community College with an associate in engineering graphics technology.
My second act is to pursue my first love for Fine Art. I want to marry my technical skill sets with my artist skill sets to create works that give joy, tranquility, provoke thought and interest. My subjects are mainly from my Springfield neighborhood. Identifying myself as a watercolorist, my medium of choice lends itself well to capturing the beautiful gardens & landscapes in and around my home. As I travel & grow, I will be expanding my subject matter, fine tuning my skill sets and expanding my medium to include pastels and acrylic paintings.
